A pair of carved stone or marble SPHINX, approx 37ins long by 10.5ins wide by 20ins high.

Photos: The main recent photo shows the weathered head of one of the sphinx, while the other earlier images show both sphinx forty years ago without signs of weathering.

ITEM 1: A 1920's LEAD STATUE of Mercury standing on a ball holding caduceus. Approx. 3ft 6ins high. Identifying marks include very shiny above knees where cleaned & cracked where wing touched the heel. ITEM 2: Eight STUDDED COPPERS nested together, 18ins diameter to 2ft 6ins diameter. ITEM 3: A modern green BRONZE STATUE of a boy holding a fish aloft, approx. 2ft 6ins.

MONTI DI RAVENNA FA MDCCCXXVI." 160cm high by 44cm wide by 35.5cm deep. 2: (Central image) MARBLE GIRL. A white marble dancing girl after Canova, 19th Century. 106cm high by 29cm wide by 33cm deep. 3: (Similar to image top right) A set of three 19th Century campana shaped MARBLE URNS. 4: A 19th Century continental lead group of two PUTTO representing music and literature. One winged cherub playing the flute, the other depicted with a book, on a limestone base. Height 68cm. 5: (Image bottom right) a modern ARMILLARY sphere, height 95cm. 6: An interesting late 18th/early 19th Century cast iron figure of HERCULES mounted on a circular sandstone pedestal bearing a club in his raised right arm. Height 80cm. 7: A three-quarter life-size BRONZE FIGURE of a robed lady holding her breast, signed G Gasbarra, fecit 1900 and bearing the foundry mark F Bruno. Fuse. Height 148cm

Lead figure of SAINT CHRISTOPHER, approx 4ft high, Pre-Raphaelite style, barefoot, pageboy haircut, wearing a belted, draped kneelength tunic, his right hand holds a staff and raised left hand supports a halo-ed figure of the Christ-child who sits on his left shoulder. (The sculptor was a Mrs M Dibden-Spooner, believed to be wife of the church's architect, who made it in 1901)
